Function, configuration and line compatibility
Review how the machine works, what it can produce and which optional functions or supporting equipment may be needed for the complete process.
Machine overview and suitable production use
DT2200 Automatic High-Speed Toilet Paper Band-Saw Cutter
The DT2200 Automatic High-Speed Toilet Paper Band-Saw Cutter divides long toilet paper logs into individual finished rolls. PLC and servo-controlled feeding coordinate log positioning and cutting length, making the machine suitable for connected automatic rewinding, cutting and packing arrangements.
The cutter is a downstream machine. It does not perform jumbo roll unwinding, embossing, perforating or rewinding. Upstream log dimensions and downstream conveyor or packing interfaces must be confirmed before the equipment layout is finalized.
Suitable Products
Toilet paper logs with cardboard cores
Coreless toilet paper logs within the confirmed cutting range
Compatible household paper logs that match the accepted diameter, density and length
Automatic Cutting
The documented cutting diameter range is approximately 40 to 140 mm, while the cutting length can be adjusted from approximately 50 to 300 mm. PLC and servo-motor feeding control the log position and finished roll width. The reference cutting speed is approximately 100 to 150 cuts per minute under suitable product and operating conditions.
Blade and Sharpening
The documented band knife is 3880 x 60 x 0.65 mm. A stepper-motor-controlled automatic grinding feed helps maintain blade condition during continuous operation. Practical cut quality also depends on paper softness, log firmness, clamping, blade adjustment and feeding stability.
Line Connection
Finished rolls can be discharged toward inspection, conveying, counting, individual wrapping or multi-roll packing. Discharge height, product orientation, conveyor speed, accumulation capacity and control signals must match the downstream equipment.
Information Required for Configuration
Paper-log diameter, length and density
Finished roll width
Core or coreless structure
Required cutting capacity
Upstream rewinder output and discharge direction
Downstream conveyor and packing method
Workshop layout
Destination voltage, frequency and compressed-air conditions
Configuration Note
Reference values are based on the documented DT2200 configuration. Final installed power, dimensions, interfaces and sustained output must be confirmed in the approved technical agreement and equipment drawing.
Upstream Connection
The DT2200 cutter is installed after a toilet paper rewinding machine and transfers finished rolls toward inspection, conveying or packing. Log diameter, discharge height and line-control signals must be coordinated with the upstream equipment.
How the machine processes the material
The infeed system receives the completed paper log and transfers it to the positioning section. PLC and servo control set the feed distance for the required roll width. The clamping and band-saw cutting sequence divides the log into individual rolls. Automatic grinding feed maintains the blade during operation, and finished rolls leave through the discharge section for inspection or connected packing.
