Machine overview and suitable production use
PE40 Manual Band-Saw Paper Cutter
The PE40 Manual Band-Saw Paper Cutter is an operator-assisted cutting machine for dividing long toilet paper logs into individual retail rolls. It is suitable for factories that use a semi-automatic production arrangement and require a lower-investment cutting method after rewinding.
The operator positions and feeds each paper log manually. Cutting output therefore depends on the finished roll width, log diameter, log firmness, blade condition, operator rhythm and required cutting accuracy.
Suitable Products
Toilet paper logs with cardboard cores
Coreless toilet paper logs within the confirmed range
Compatible household paper logs with a cutting diameter of approximately 40-140 mm
Cutting Range and Blade
The documented cutting diameter is approximately 40 to 140 mm, and the finished cutting length can be adjusted from approximately 50 to 300 mm. The listed band-saw blade size is 3740 x 40 x 0.65 mm. Blade sharpening is completed manually.
Working Process
A completed paper log is moved from the rewinding section to the band-saw cutter. The operator aligns the log, sets the required cutting position and feeds the log through the blade. Finished rolls are collected and inspected manually, while irregular head and tail sections are removed before packing.
Production and Safety
The PE40 does not have one fixed automatic output. Practical capacity is determined by product dimensions and operator-assisted handling. The cutting area must remain guarded and operators must follow the approved operating, blade-adjustment and maintenance procedures.

Equipment Boundary
This page describes an individual manual band-saw cutter. Rewinding, automatic log transfer, roll counting, packing and bundling require separate equipment unless included in the confirmed supply scope.
Upstream Connection
The PE40 cutter is used after a toilet paper rewinding machine to divide paper logs into finished rolls. Log diameter, cutting width and operator handling space should be confirmed before the equipment layout is finalized.
How the machine processes the material
The operator places and aligns a finished paper log on the cutting support, confirms the required roll width and manually advances the log through the moving band-saw blade. Cut rolls are collected after each cutting sequence, and the remaining log is repositioned until cutting is complete.
