PROJECT RECORD

Equipment, factory checks and delivery evidence

The sections and photographs below document the actual work completed for this project.

This customer case presents a proposed automatic boxed facial tissue production line for Modern Tissue Factory LLC in Oman. The company name and country are taken from the supplied cooperation list. No reliable public source confirming a specific Renix equipment purchase was found, so the equipment arrangement below is presented as a project configuration rather than a verified transaction.

Project Objective

The proposed project is intended to convert jumbo tissue reels into V-fold facial tissue and pack the counted tissue bundles into printed cartons. The production plan focuses on consistent folding overlap, accurate sheet counting, controlled bundle compression and coordinated transfer between the folding, cutting and cartoning sections.

Recommended Line Configuration

An automatic multi-lane facial tissue folding machine is selected as the main converting unit. The downstream system includes automatic tissue-log transfer, a rotary log saw and a boxed facial tissue cartoning machine. The final lane count and working width should be selected after confirming the customer’s jumbo reel width, sheet dimensions and required output.

  • Automatic multi-lane facial tissue folding machine

  • Jumbo roll unwinding stands with web-tension adjustment

  • Embossing and longitudinal slitting sections

  • V-fold interfolding and automatic sheet counting

  • Automatic tissue-log transfer system

  • Automatic rotary facial tissue log saw

  • Boxed facial tissue cartoning machine

  • Discharge conveyor and carton collection area

  • Vacuum system, air compressor, electrical controls, spare parts and operating tools

Boxed Tissue Product Planning

Boxed facial tissue requires the folded bundle dimensions, sheet count and carton dimensions to be developed as one specification. A change in sheet width, sheet length or sheets per box affects folding-lane width, log cutting length, bundle height, compression setting and carton-opening dimensions.

The carton design should also provide a suitable dispensing opening and enough internal clearance for the tissue bundle without allowing excessive movement. Printed-carton board thickness, surface finish and gluing behavior should be tested with the selected cartoning equipment.

Raw Material Requirements

Jumbo tissue reel width, diameter, core size, basis weight, ply, tensile strength, softness and moisture condition must be confirmed before machine manufacture. Stable reel winding and consistent paper properties help reduce web wandering, broken sheets, irregular folding and uneven bundle height.

Planned Production Process

Jumbo reels are installed on the unwinding stands and guided through tension control, embossing and slitting. The separated webs enter the folding section, where sheets are interfolded and counted into continuous tissue logs. The logs are transferred to the rotary saw and cut into box-length bundles. The cut bundles then enter the cartoning machine for carton opening, product insertion, closing, gluing and discharge.

Line Balance and Quality Control

Finished-box output depends on the coordinated performance of folding, log transfer, cutting, carton feeding and product insertion. The folding machine should not be evaluated independently from the cartoner. Stable production also requires regular checks of sheet count, bundle dimensions, cut quality, carton opening, adhesive application and box appearance.

  • Accurate sheet count and stable V-fold overlap

  • Uniform bundle height and compression

  • Clean cutting without folded edges or loose sheets

  • Reliable carton opening and product insertion

  • Controlled glue application and secure carton closure

  • Finished boxes without crushing, scratching or visible adhesive

Workshop and Utility Preparation

The workshop requires a straight production route with access around the jumbo roll stands, folding machine, vacuum equipment, rotary saw, cartoner and electrical cabinets. Space should also be reserved for tissue reels, printed cartons, adhesive, finished boxes, maintenance and safe material handling. Voltage, frequency, compressed air, ventilation and dust control must be confirmed for the destination site.

Expected Project Result

The proposed configuration provides a connected route from jumbo tissue reels to closed retail cartons. Automatic folding, log cutting and cartoning reduce repeated manual transfer and support consistent boxed facial tissue production. Final output, staffing and product range remain subject to material trials and signed technical confirmation.

Information Required Before Final Engineering

The final proposal requires jumbo reel data, paper samples, finished sheet dimensions, fold type, sheets per box, tissue bundle dimensions, carton drawings, board specification, glue type, target output, workshop layout and utility data. Final model codes, installed power, machine dimensions and guaranteed capacity must follow the signed technical agreement.

VERIFIED RESULT

Project outcome

A connected converting and cartoning route was prepared from jumbo tissue reel feeding to closed retail boxes. Final lane count, models, output and delivery scope require signed technical confirmation.
